Just a short note to thank you and the team at Painting Partners for the superb painting job undertaken at our townhouse in 2019.
Since we are living far away, we had to make arrangement about matching colours and timing without being on-site and knew that everything was taken care of.
We received running feedback with pictures on a daily basis. Difficult stuff like the staircase was completed perfectly.
We had to rely on objective advice from Grant and appreciate the professional way we could communicate.
Even additional handyman advice was forthcoming to ensure a total finish.

Dear Grant,
We recently had the pleasure of having our house in Fourways Gardens painted by your Company.
It was not an easy job as the house had been left for some years and there were quite a few structural cracks and waterproofing issues. Your quotation was not the cheapest but was still reasonable and you were by no means the most expensive either. A cheap price usually results in a poor quality job, so we were happy to pay a little extra as we had been victims of a ‘low price’ and bad workmanship on previous occasions with various builders and painters.
Right from the start when you came to assess the condition of the house, we could tell that you were going to be thorough and professional…and we were not disappointed! You spent hours taking photographs of the entire property, noting all imperfections, and this proved invaluable once the job began in earnest and your workers were onsite. Your personal assistance in creating our own unique colour is highly appreciated and we are extremely satisfied with the result!
Over the years we have noticed how many contractors are notably absent once the contract has been signed and the workers are left for days on end to manage the project as best they can. You were different in that you were there almost every day and sometimes twice a day to ensure that the work was done properly and that the surfaces which had been painted had been prepared properly prior to painting. The secret of achieving a great paint job is in the preparation of the surfaces to be painted and your guys were really good at finding issues and at resolving them without waiting for continual approval. The job was therefore completed on schedule… much to my surprise.
On the rare occasion that we did have an issue with something, you immediately met me on site and the issue was sorted out. Your personal involvement on these occasions was appreciated. The entire project was completed with a minimum of mess or fuss as the guys cleaned up every evening before they went home and this kept our house looking like a home and not a building site. The guys themselves were really very nice, extremely friendly and totally trustworthy. We left our home open even when we were not there and not once did we have an issue with any of them. My wife was perfectly comfortable being at home alone with your guys around.
Grant, it was a pleasure doing business with you and your Company, thank you! We know it was a big job but you and your guys were methodical and thorough in your approach and you made it all look so easy.
We have another house to paint which is also in Fourways Gardens and we will be asking you for a quote as soon as the renovations have been completed. Our builders should return to work next week following lockdown so we should be ready to paint in about 4 weeks.
Your levels of service and satisfaction are so high that we cannot imagine using anyone else.
